We loved this place! It was roomy, beautifully decorated, spotlessly clean, and the owner thought of everything. The kitchen was very well-equipped. We loved the quiet location with an amazing view of the water in Ucluelet near the Wild Pacific Trail. We would love to stay here again and would absolutely recommend it to others.

The condo was amazing and we had a fantastic week there. Really spacious, comfortable and beautifully furnished. The view of the ocean through the trees is as good from inside as it is from the large balcony (we regularly saw bald eagles). Very well appointed kitchen and plenty of amenities. Shoreline exploration and trails directly over the road and so much to do in the vicinity within a short drive that we will be back for longer next time.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in “Ukee” at this very well kept condo. We spent 3 nights here on our 2 week vacation of the Pacific Northwest and this place was by far the best place we stayed. It was comfortable, quiet, and classy. The kitchen had everything you could need. The owners provided suggestions of their favorite restaurants. Amazing views, very clean, extremely responsive hosts….we could go on and on. Definitely recommend!

If we could give this property 6 stars instead of 5 we would. Jodi & Ken are absolutely wonderful hosts, the 'cottage' is amazing. Love the view and the feel of the place. The Kitchen is fully stocked with tools/utensils you'll need. The linens/towels are wonderful fabric and we LOVED the soap... (need to find out where to get it for our home). The Attic bedroom is quaint/comfortable and was romantic for celebrating our 20th anniversary. We'll definitely be back and will check out their other Granite Falls Getaway locations.

The listing doesn't even do this gorgeous place justice. The most incredible location, a beautiful little house with everything you need. Having access to sit on the dock in such a special place and enjoy the evenings there was a game changer. Jodi and Ken are perfect hosts. Already desperate to go back!

Look no further! This gorgeous condo is very accommodating for up to 4 people and the building is very secure. Plus the location is awesome! We didn't have a car but didn't need one as we found it easy to walk everywhere. The pictures don't lie and the views out the many floor to ceiling windows and from the balcony are absolutely spectacular! The beds are very comfortable. We enjoyed the pool and hot tub area as well. Communication with Jodi was great from the moment we booked. Will definitely stay here again!

We enjoyed our stay in this condo! The unit is very well stocked, super clean, and is situated in the quieter upper village area. The air conditioning was very much appreciated. The owners are wonderful! They were very easy to communicate with and went above and beyond to make sure our stay was pleasant. I would definitely book this unit again!

My husband and I loved staying at the Whiteside's Aspen condo. The bed was so comfy, the kitchen was well stocked and modern appliances. There was lots of coffee and tea. We loved how quite it was and the pretty view of the forest. Our hosts were so kind and checked in with us to make sure everything was going well. We couldn't have asked for a nicer place to stay.

This property sits high above the Indian Arm, with the cottage tucked up behind the residence, surrounded by lush gardens. Jodi and Ken are so welcoming and hospitable with their stunning residence. What a treat to experience living the good life, if only for a week! We took every advantage of the many walking & hiking trails both in and around Vancouver and on up to Squamish. It was so nice to come back to such a clean, well-appointed, charming cottage - to the wonderful shower, beautiful kitchen, air conditioning - cook dinner and relax while watching the far side of the fjord glow as the sun sets behind us. However, believe Jodi and Ken when they say their cottage is not suitable for those with mobility challenges. Nor if you're uncomfortable navigating the steep and narrow final stretch of the drive. But, it is SO worth it!

Meet Jodi & Ken

Jodi and Ken are enjoying a long and successful marriage and partnership. We are both blessed to have interesting and challenging professional careers, Jodi in medical device sales, and Ken as a CPA with a specialization in financial software systems. We love the arts. As young adults Jodi studied art at the Alberta College of Art and design, and Ken studied music at the University of British Columbia. Music and artwork are part of our home. We love animals, and currently share our home with three beautiful standard poodles. We love the outdoors. Sharing your life with dogs means you are hiking in the woods most days. We ski in the winter as often as we can, and enjoy kayaking, boating and motorcycling in the summer. And of course, travelling to our favorite places, which is what planted the seed for Granite Falls Getaways.
