Our Story

We love to travel. Growing up in Western Canada, Jodi in Calgary and Ken in Vancouver, our parents took us on wonderful road trips through our childhood, exploring the beauty of Alberta and British Columbia. When Jodi and Ken got together many years ago, we brought that love of travel to our marriage. We have enjoyed a few far – away trips to wonderful places like France and Thailand, but more often we have enjoyed the beauty of our home province.

In our first few years we kept returning to our favorite places. Whistler for the skiing, summer adventures, and vibrant village, and Ucluelet & Tofino for the amazing and dramatic beaches, rainforest, summer sun and winter storms. Victoria for its beautiful inner harbour and old world charm. Our travel conversations often included “wouldn't it be great to own a place here…”.

We realized the first part of this dream in 2016 with the purchase of our condo in The Aspens on Blackcomb. We decided to offer the condo to guests with a mission of “what do we love about the places we have stayed in”. It starts with a great building in a great location. Our unit must be impeccably clean. The kitchen must be well stocked with more than just the ‘basics’. The bed must be comfortable, and bedding and linens high quality. The electronics must be modern and functional. Finally, the artwork and décor must be elevated to complement the location.

We commissioned our properties in The Ridge, Ucluelet in 2020 and The Falls, Victoria in 2022 with the same passion for quality, detail and an elevated guest experience. Our fourth property is the guest cottage at our home in Woodlands, North Vancouver, overlooking scenic Indian Arm.

Managing these properties has become our labour of love. We want our guests to have a great and elevated experience in our favorite places!
